“I want to run away with you, to distant lands and foreign shores.
I want to get lost with you, in a hidden valley,
on a mountaintop and in a place without a name.”
As most of you probably know, I am madly in love with destinations weddings and travels. The Eastern Cape has stolen my heart over and over again. And whenever I get the chance to go there, my heart is filled with childlike wonder and excitement. Sonelda and Francois had their beautiful wedding at The Rosebarn, in Jeffrey’s Bay.
I met these two about a year ago, for their enagegment shoot, on their farm in Kirkwood. They are the most beautiful, kind hearted and loving two people to be around. And they look pretty amazing in front of the camera too – just wait until you see their photos! We had beautiful, moody weather as the perfect backdrop to their couple shoot. And I am so in love with these landscapes.
Followed by Craft Beers (my favourite), an epic bouquet tossing and a proper “sokkie” to end off the night, I left this wedding with a massive smile on my face!
Dankie weereens, Sonelda & Francois
