There is a wonderful little story behind this wedding: How I met these two beautiful souls and where it all began. About three years ago, a lovely couple, named Jana & Gerrie, contacted me to photograph their Destination Wedding. Everything around their big day, their families and love for one another, stole my heart. Jana’s sister, Suzanne, was no exception. A gorgeous, bubbly, little blonde lady with a heart made of gold. Jana & Gerrie’s wedding was the first that Suzanne & Lourens attended together. It was also the night that Lourens officially asked Suzanne to be his girlfriend.
After delivering Jana & Gerrie’s wedding photos, Suzanne sent me message: “I want you to photography my wedding one day.” Fast forward a few years to a heartwarming wedding enquiry from Suzanne & Lourens. They were engaged!!! My heart melted, and excitement ran high to photograph another Hattingh – Wedding.
Me and Jasper were welcomed like family on their big day. And it was such a privilege to share the celebrations with this amazing family.
The beautiful, Whispering Thorns, venue was completely transformed into a festive celebration for this amazing couple.
