When the sun breaks through those chilly winter mornings in the Mother City, it’s hard not to pull your blankets back over your head and hit the snooze button (again). But, as most of you already know, I am like a child at Christmas when I get to do a shoot this time of day.
Meeting up with Karla & Johan, at sunrise, in a beautiful forest, was the absolute highlight of my day.
With layers, blankets, snuggles and cosy-kisses, we made our way through the trees, with an amazing view of the mountains behind us. Mist still lingering around the forest, with only the cry of baboons in the distance. As the sun swept away the last few dew drops and mist hanging over the mountains, we made our way back home – Smiling from ear to ear. What an amazing shoot to start the day with!
