Jani & Niela said their I do’s at the amazing Lunikhy Game Farm, less than an hour’s drive from Pretoria, Gauteng. This was my first time photographing a wedding at this beautiful venue, and it’s definitely one of my new favourites!
As we arrived at the venue, we were greeted by friendly giraffes and wildebeest – Heart exploding! I could not get enough of this amazing place and the beautiful decor.
The men got dressed the way only boys know how: barefoot in an open field, next to a watering hole. Yes, an actual watering hole for wild animals 😉 It did make for some interesting photos and a few good laughs.
Jani & her gorgeous bridesmaids (all in Blu Betty shoes), got dressed in a more conventional way. And Jani’s “first reveal” to her ladies had me close to tears.
During their outdoor ceremony, Niela’s reaction had us all reaching for tissues once more. We left to capture some amazing memories in the beautiful, bushveld sunset and as the happy couple made their way into the reception, guest greeted them with a shower of paper airplanes!
Add an hilarious MC, a delicious wedding cake and a dance floor that came to life with joy and laughter – and you have one very memorable wedding day!
